The girls and I haven't left the house all week. It has been so cold we have been loving fleece jammies and comfy slippers, but I'm starting to get stir crazy.... So I decided to wander Target this morning. The girls loved strolling in thier double stroller under a fleece blanket to keep warm! (Sometimes I wish I were one of my girls!)
It was nice to be out and about! The girls happily checked out the toy aisles. Evie has already started to pick out toys for her next birthday! I snuck a few goodies from the "dollar section" for my little Valentines! Sometimes it's hard to surprise them because they are always with me. And we picked up a few odds and ends for the house. It was a fun little shopping trip and we decided a treat from Starbucks was in order. A tall peppermint mocha for me, a pink birthday cake pop for Evie and a shortbread cookie for Belle.
As we drove home past pretty snowy fields, enjoying our treats, and singing our usual kids songs I wished I could bottle up that exact moment! We spelled our names, talked about our favorite colors, and counted the mail trucks once we got back into town... it was the perfect Friday morning!
