We had to say "bye bye" to Uncle Pete tonight and it was bittersweet! We had one last family dinner at Bonanza before he leaves in the morning. I had been looking forward and dreading tonight all week... Peter just wasn't home long enough!

A few weeks ago I found a recipe for Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa and thought of my little brother because he loves pumpkin flavored things! I think I might try it this weekend and think of him! Oh, I miss him already!!! Here's the recipe...
Serves six
6 cups of milk
6 packets of powdered hot chocolate OR 1/2 lb. of dark chocolate bits
1 1/2 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
Lots of whipped cream
Cinnamon
Heat milk to almost boiling. Place hot chocolate mix into mugs and mix in thoroughly 1/4 tbsp. of the pumpkin pie spice. Pour in hot milk and stir well. Load on the whip cream. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Enjoy!
