We took Evie apple picking yesterday at McDougal Orchards. I know it sounds so very silly but when I found out I was pregnant a family outing at McDougal's was one of my first day dreams! I had many wonderful day dreams, but I always imagined a crisp fall day filled with warm cider, hay rides, playing with crunchy gold leaves, and eating freshly picked sweet apples.
Even though it isn't quite fall yet and there was no cider or hay rides Evie loved touching the pretty green leaves. The apples were freshly picked, but just a little tart. Evie enjoyed every last lick!
We absolutely loved every second of our trip to the apple orchard.
