Dear Great Nana...

Dear Great Nana,

I was so very excited when my Mommy told me we were visiting you! As soon as we set a date for the visit my Mommy played the silliest game with me... She would clap her hands and sing “Yay Nana, Yay Nana!” This always made me smile and occasionally caused fits of infectious giggles. We are all heartbroken that you have gone without ever seeing my bright sweet smile in person, but we know you can see me anytime you want now and are smiling down from heaven.

My Mommy and I will think of you every time she orders new pictures of me. She promised to sing “How Much Is That Doggy In The Window” as many times as I want because you sang that song to her and my Uncle Pete when they were little. I loved that you called me a little princess. How did you know? Most of all, I’m sad I never got to meet my Great Nana. I love you!

Sending oodles of gooey baby kisses up to heaven,

Evie
