I cannot wait for fall to arrive! We have barely left our air conditioned house all summer! Evie has the worst eczema and it flares up horribly in the heat and humidity. We have done a few things outside, but I'm excited to explore the outdoors with her once the weather becomes cool and crisp.
I have so many fun plans swirling around my in head. I want to pick more apples. I want to spend our third wedding anniversary on a hayride and pick Evie her very own pumpkin! I want to go for a walk along the Scarborough Marsh. My Mom, Evie, and I are doing the Walk To Cure Diabetes in a few weeks. I am so excited for this walk and so lucky I only lived with diabetes while I was pregnant! I am most excited for Evie's first Halloween! It is my favorite holiday, tied with Christmas! I am still shopping for costumes, but she does have a few Halloween shirts and bibs! We are "trick-or-treating" at the Grammies and Great Grammies homes. Really, we are just showing off her costume, but it will be fun and festive just the same.
I absolutely LOVE fall... the beautiful colors, the crunch of leaves under my feet, the smell of apples mixed with cinnamon baking, warming up with cranberry bog tea (my favorite), wearing sweaters, carving pumpkins, cuddling with my two favorite people on chilly nights, my list could go on and on!
